I agree with this completely. If your goal is to know your true win rate, fine - maybe you need several hundred thousand hands. But if you just want to know if you are a winning player, you could just have an expert watch you play for a few hours and you can get a pretty accurate assessment. I mean - you know if you're running well or not. If you play 10K hands and run like crap and still end up a decent amount...you're probably a winning player.
