Well, I certainly understand you feeling a level of risk involved without a third party. However, I am unwilling to send my money to someone I know nothing about...made that mistake before, and it cost me. I am willing to PM Ed Miller and see if he'll take the time to let me get to know him enough that I'm comfortable with him...but the Cowboys do begin play tomorrow, and the outcome of that game will impact our wager. In the meantime...I'm willing to do the following:
1) PM you my phone number for you to call, speak with me, verify my number, etc.
2) Put a clause into the bet that if I stop posting on this site for more than 7 days, you can void the bet no matter what the Cowboys' record is.
I've never not paid on a wager in my entire life, and I wouldn't here. Also, though not as vested as you, I definitely value the fact that more people here are getting to know me, etc, and that alone is worth more than 300 bucks to me.
Anyway, I'm gonna PM you my cell number, as I'm about to leave to go see TCU-SMU. If you call tonight and we can work it out, great. If not, we'll let it go.
