I played about 20 hours of 8/16 in Vegas a couple weeks ago and can offer some comments. I found the Bellagio 8/16 to be a pretty rockish game during the day. There were lots of chopped pots and lots of hands decided on a pf raise. The table was pretty passive though so as long as you were aggressive you could make a little money. Things loosened up later in the evening although I had a number of people remark that they thought the 15/30 game was generally looser than the 8/16. I didn't play 15/30 so I can't comment.

I also put in a long session at the Wynn 8/16. This was a bit looser than Bellagio during the day and was pretty juicy at night. There was a lull during dinner and things really picked up after that.
