I think it's more likely the other views where from people who couldn't believe the apparent stupidity of the subject and wanted to see if there was any more to it.

If you genuinely didn't realise, be advised it is good form to do at least a little research on your own before asking for others' time and help - and that doesn't just apply to this site or Internet forums generally... it applies to real life. Grow up.
