I don't know what the effective stack was in hand #2, but I'll assume it was 100-150 blinds.
I think both of these are pretty bad. I don't think they accomplish what you want (getting a better hand to fold) nearly often enough for them to be correct. And it's highly unlikely you get called by a worse hand in either case.
Huge chip-burners, IMO.
