Default Re: Where will LT be ranked?

He is going to have a 9 year career, total? Are you freaking kidding me? He has had two bad seasons?

'01 1236 yards 3.6avg 59recs 367yds 10 TDs (rookie season)
'02 1680 yds 4.5avg 79recs 489yds 15 TDs
'03 1645 5.3 100recs 725yds 17 TDs

All three of those seasons the Chargers were pathetic. Can you name a player who scored more than 5 tds on any of those teams? Please, which one of the seasons was "bad"?

Last year, he was injured for 5 games with a groin injury. If you watched the games you would see he was decoy fairly often. Yet, he still managed:
1335yds 3.9 yds 54 recs 18 TDs.

Also, the contention that he will have 5 more seasons total seems silly by todays standards:

I will ignore Bettis and Martin, the two most obvious exceptions.
Tiki Barber had the best year of his career last year at 30 years old, 9th season.
Corey Dillon had his best year in his 9th season, last year
Warrick Dunn, 30 yrs old, 9th season, best of career
Faulk did not start to decline until his 9th season at 29 years old. However, for his last 3 seasons he has still been productive out of the backfield.
Fred Taylor, while plagued by injuries early in his career has been very strong in his 6th, 7th, and 8th seasons in the league.

An injury free LT will easily rush for 10k yards. Your thinking is outdated.
