Well I've only played a couple months and still at nickel games to boot, let alone 2/4. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

But...

Since the original poster knew the outcome, it's kind a setup asking about folding after the flop knowing he would have lost.

Anyway, I'd say that a raise preflop would have been inorder. You were up against too many hands for that pair. Calling preflop left 66% of all comers limping in at that point, you're set up to be outdrawn. A preflop raise might have changed the face action that scared you off.

As far as folding trips after the flop, I'd need to see at least one more card incase of snagging a full house.
