Are you sure Aretha didn't write at least some of her stuff? "Respect" was written by Otis Redding (aka the Master of the Universe), but I thought she wrote some of the other hits
Best I could Google up was a co-writing credit.
I did find that '(You Make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman' was written by Carole King, didn't know that.
