I know a few former students that were on the team. They all claim that they didn't make very much money. Suprise: the story was a stretch of the truth. I'm certain that the book's author made far more money selling the book than they ever won in Vegas.

Definitely.

I looked over the blackjack tables at the indian casinos around here, and they are basically unbeatable, even if you could count cards perfectly. The betting range is small, and every casino edge is taken. The people who play don't have a clue either way, they might as well give the house a max edge. I don't know if it is this way in all indian casinos. They definitely don't play like the bigger casinos in Vegas though, at least in my experience.

It has already been said, but if you can assemble a team and a bankroll, you might as well whore online poker, online casinos, or online sportsbooks. *Gulp*. Yes, I said it. (The *Gulp* was because online teams will be the next "Bringing Down the House", IMO)
