There are only two poker "rooms" in the North Tahoe area - two tables at the Nugget (across the street from the Biltmore) and 4-5 tables at the Hyatt (about 5 miles away). Dunno anything about the games at the Hyatt, but I played for a while one night in the 2-6 spread game at the Nugget.

11pm on Friday night and they could only get one table going. Real chips, but paper cards. The game was pretty good though, thanks to some excessive action by a couple of players. Highlight hands include:
* TPTK on flop w/ AQ taken down by underplayed KK
* about a million flush and open-ended draws not coming in
* TPTK on flop w/ AK actually holds up allowing me to drag one pot all night

Final result: 2 hours @ -$200 = -16.7BB/Hour. Yay.
