Flop bet is just about automatic. Without a read, turn bet is, too. If I feared getting check-raised, I'd check it and call a bet on the end or bet a non-scare card. This could induce some river bluffs from hands that were peeling for an ace that would fold the turn or check-raise bluff.
In general, I think you miss too much value from lower pairs and give a free shot at the flush.
