this is the easiest call ever. Given your read, he probably has a big pocket pair. His chances of having 88 or 99 are unlikely given that you have one, so there is only one combination of those hands he could have, and a whole bunch of combinations of 10 10 - AA. Also the MP raise makes me think he has at least one of those cards as well making it impossible for him to have one of the 88 or 99's.
I'm thinking you are dodging a non 8 or 9 board pairing to counterfeit your hand.
