Default Re: Results..

[ QUOTE ]
I've found the responses to this post very surprising. When I read it first, I thought folding was the best option. Not a no-brainer fold but still a fold. Then I read replies saying easy call, trivial call, etc !

Let us look at the range of hands you're up against :
The best you can hope for is that you're up against 2 weaker aces, then next best is what your opponents actually had, also possible is 2 smaller pair, or another AK and a smaller pair, also a possible pair of Kings or Aces.
If you assign probabilities to all of these scenarios, and work out the combined EV, then depending on the probabilities you assigned (which depends a lot on the players you are up against), you will get a marginal call, a marginal fold, or a clear fold.
No way do you get a trivial call.
And this is NOT being results oriented.

By the way, 2 other observations.
I would have raised more preflop (which ironically would have probably made me call after the reraises !).

How could you be down to 150 after this hand ?

And another observation. OP doesn't need to beat both to come out ahead. He can lose to the BB, beat the button, and still come out ahead. So it's bumpety-bump-bump-bump.
