the double blind structure was updated in the book for all editions dated 1997 and later. 2+2 wouldn't bother to continue selling the book if that part wasn't fixed.

it's still an EXCELLENT introduction for beginners and packs a lot of useful, correct information into a very compact 110 pages or so, making for a efficient and unintimidating read. chapter 4 "Flops You Want" and the chapter 5 strategy sections are as good as any first-timer books that have been written since.

the only potential drawback is the $19.95 list price which seems high for a skinny book. but it's readily available at most discount retailers for 25-40% off.
