Default Re: On the Bubble: What\'s my play with AJs in the BB vs EP min-raise?

The answer depends abit on how bad you want to "just" get into the money of if you want to go for the bigger money.

If you "just" want to get into the money, the fold might be an option...

It is likely the villain is playing the bubble and pushing around small-stacks. In that case you will be a favorite to double up. The only real hands to which you are a real dog are AA, AK and AQ. KK, QQ, JJ are no good for you either. Otherwise you have a fair chance. I think you will have to take it. Push all-in is the only option. Villain will call you any how after the flop, and if you lay down now or call and laydown you will ha a severly crippled stack.Even more than it already is, and you will have to make a move within short anyway, probably woth a worse hand than you have now. Double up now and you might be a contender again, double up when your stack is 3-4000, and you are still in trouble, as the blinds grow. So push it and hope for a call.
