Default Re: Stud vs. HE : Online Profitability

2BB/Hr seems like the upper limit in a B&M casino at decent games. I averaged a little under this in my casino days. Now, I've heard that 45 hands/hr is about right for B&M? I average 64 hands/hr/table online.

This means that B&M I could get almost twice the BB/100 that I get online(even playing higher limits), but I can play almost 6x the hands/hr online.

I agree that $65 or so an hr seems to about be the max for lower-limit stud. Any 10/20 online guys want to brag?

As for the sitting out thing. I really don't do it that much, only when I have 2 or more complex hands going at once. And I'm such a tight-ass, it ain't that often. And even then I'm only sitting out for a hand or two. This doesn't break games, it's the guys who play one hand every 10 minutes to "save" thier seats that breaks tables, which seems to be more prevelant at 5/10 than 3/6. I don't do this. In total I probably sit-out less than the average player, especially with the catheter and the pizza guy delivering directly to my desk.

One of these days I might make a run at HE online and see what happens. But another advantage of Stud online is that the universe of players is small enough to usually know who you are up against. Especially when you're tracking stats on everyone...
