2. You have totally skewed ideas about what is "enough" to play a certain limit. $250 is enough for one buy-in at $5-10. Which means it is the amount you can expect to vary one way or the other in one, relatively short sitting.

3. The standard rule here is not to play a limit unless you have 300BB as a bankroll. So, you shouldn't have moved up to 3-6 until you hit $1800.

4. Go back to .5-1 and work on your game. If you aren't able to control the desire to play over your head you are going to go broke. This is one of the classic mistakes all poker players make. The level you play should not really be an ego thing. Play where you are comfortable both financially and as to skill.
