Re: Why are poker players (and in particular these forums) so hostile?
Personally, I dismiss anyone's flaming as utter drivel. I have no use for those individuals and simply move on to the next post. I believe that, for the most part, folks on this forum are genuinely trying to learn and/or help others learn. There will always be idiot trolls and I have been flamed by them; however, I am willing to put up with a few idiots in return for the fabulous education the majority of posters have given me. As I learn more, I hope to contribute more and repay at least some of what I have been given.
I hope I never consider flaming someone as a contribution!
