I think that any hand that beats him on this board right now is a much worse starting hand that AJo, so if anything he should of raised, but raising with AJo UTG+1 is dangerous, maybe not so much at a 6-max table. UTG+2 could possibly (if he's really weak, "slowplay" a preflop monster in which case folding would be the best idea preflop. However, you don't know that, and he didn't raise.)

This hand was more costly than it should have been. I would have only lead the turn if another jack came out. I pin the guy to having a 3 or maybe if he's incredibly weak, he tried to slowplay high pockets preflop. Either way I think you're beat.
