I think it's OK to let this one go here and move on. However, a key piece of information here is pertinent past history of your steals against these guys. If you have been doing it liberally, it's time to call down - especially if they have fought back at you and been successful.

If it's early in the session and there IS no history to speak of, then I think it's best to fold here, but also remember to call down next time he fights back, as it will be more likely he's trying to push you around.
