It depends on the villain and your own style of play. If you're going to play straightforwardly and ABC, calling a raise with anything except pocket pairs and AK is going to lose you money. If you pull a lot of moves and try to take pots away from the raiser frequently, whether you have a hand or not, calling with suited connectors and suited Broadways can be great.
