It's not like there some amount you can bet to make a flush draw fold when they are going to hit, and call when they are going to miss.

Mathematically, you could bet like 700, which would have the effect of crushing his implied odds, such that even if he stacks you on the turn, he makes a mistake to call on the flop. I don't you are going to find anyone here advocating that line, because obviously you want some value from your set. And we want people drawing nearly dead to one or two pair (KQ, A8, etc).

Maybe the answer is that hero needs to let it go when the obvious draw hits and there's an all-in after a bet and a raise. Or maybe he doesn't, and the result was pre-ordained when two monsters collide. I don't know.
