Default identifying good / poor players

I am just making some notes at one of my sites and was thinking about how I identify good players.

Good players
don't play many hands
more likely to fold
don't call crap hands to the river
don't raise with crap
check raise for value????

Bad players
play too many cards
keep calling hoping to make a hand
win lots of hands on the river
don't fold

obviously you can't see everyones hand at the showdown so it can take some time and assumptions to identify players as being in a category.

Have I missed anything here? am I completely off the mark?
Have other people got any ideas on identifying players?

What else can I do to identify players I want to play with and those I don't.
