Default 2 pair in Stars $50+5

I'm just limping trying to hit a flop. Villain has been making very small raises PF almost every time. I'm comfortable calling one of his dinkish raises.

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

<font color="#CC3333">BB bets t99</font>, Hero calls t99.

Flop hits me but I want to keep this pot small. I also figure I'll let villain keep bluffing.

Ok that card just gave me 2 pair. I feel very solid, especially against this player. After a series of min-raises we are eventually all-in. so much for keeping the pot small.

i think i tried to be too tricky here. should i be raising alot more? what if he re-raises?
