I used to have this problem for a long time. One thing that helped me was that the Harrah's East Chicago in Indiana closes at 5am. My problem then is that I would go fish style like many of the players during the last hour. Had to get even... When I went to places that were 24 hours, I also found that I would play 24+ hour sessions.
I eventually got over this problem when I decided to try to make money playing poker. I put in so many hours, then I don't have a problem leaving. I know that I'll be back tomorrow and that I'm playing one big poker session.
If you can't control yourself, then the second poster may be correct that you have a gambling problem. You may be able to control yourself, but it might take time and money...
