Huge jump in payout from 46th-54th place (173,880) vs. 37th-45th place (235,890). That's more than 60k. The difference between the previous two levels was only 28k and the difference between the next two (higher) levels is only ~39k.

Why such a disparity when all the other levels seem to be fairly evenly displaced throughout the entire event?

Anybody who recognized this and had a short stack very recently (5-7pm EST on Wed) would've benefitted from waiting to coast into the next bracket before starting the inevitable series of all-ins.

Or do you suppose Harrah's posted an inaccurate payout structure webpage?
