I agree that the big flop bet is silly. Your fondest wish at that point should be for free cards towards your fullhouse draw, especially since you don't really need to take this small pot.
However, calling before the flop ain't so bad, as long as you are willing to fold preflop to a decent size raise. I like to play some of these hands-with-a-chance early in tourneys, even if in theory I shouldn't. I see it as playing for a huge possible payoff, so if I can get in for a tiny minimum, I sometimes do it. However, I will fold with a hair trigger if raised, n.q.a.
