Re: Two general questions regarding PL Omaha
(1) Time charge $7? Is this a home game? Sounds like the host is making a killing. Do they provide a full catered meal (not burgers & dogs). If this were a casino, this would have to be a large game. Time carge is relative to the size of the game. How much money is in play? $14 x 9 plyrs = $126 per hour to host for providing the game. If you are dealing 40 hands per hour and each player is paying $14 = $0.35 per hand per player (steep charge). This game must be "big" to be taking this much money out of the game and it's still running?
(2) Single blind PLO. There is no established "big-bet." You are referring to limit poker terminaology. You are trying to establish the "earn rate." Keep track for some specified number of hours of play and the amount of net winnings. Net winnings divided by hours played = earned rate per hour (e.g. $10785 / 675 hrs. = $15.98/hr)
