On a side note.. I haven't ever cheated on my girlfriend, but I often think that monagamy wasn't necessarily intended by nature, God, gods- or random chance or anything else you believe in.

Now, for comic purposes.. Let's make an analogy to the cardroom.. Sure, you "love" your regular B&M... wish the best for it... the place downtown doesn't have the same charm and feel... you don't know all the regulars... but there's good money to be won downtown, and thus, you'll take the occasional swing... while all the time thinking you could just be playing where everyone knows your name.

Final thought: Before the advent of modern technology, medicine, etc. It was important (to the survival of our species) for a man to spread his seed... as much and as far as possible. This is no longer the case, but our biological urges- for survival, persist.
