Re: 5 card draw for high--too easy to milk the fish?
The big complaint I've always heard about 5 draw played with semi-competent players is that it turns into a giant rock fest. Loose players get slaughtered in the game and the action drys up.
It's not that bad players lose, it's that loose players lose. An overly tight rock will not lose nearly as quickly. So, any players that you really would prefer to play against leave the game.
