Following Doyle's example, remind him that we aren't at the TV table so he isn't going to get any of the additional camera time he thinks is so precious for being an ass.
Option #2.
Ask him if his mom is in the crowd. I would not want to bust him unless she's there so he can get his loser consolation hug from mommy like in 2003.
