My suspection was that the bigstack did not have a good high hand, based on the all-in hands that he was calling with on the previous dozen or so hands. He was usually playing high hands very slowly and playing low hands far faster. I knew that I only had a one-way hand, but being that I needed to triple up to have a decent chance of placing 5th or higher, I thought the gamble might be worth it, especially consider that I suspected both other hands heavily consisted of low cards.
