Default Re: Gaming Club Challenge the final countdown!

Oy!

It's official, I'm done!

Not exactly the ending that I was hoping for, but just glad to still be alive. there was some problem with the hand history, so I actually didn't know for sure when I was finished. I just kept playing until I knew that I had to be over. I think that I went something like 400 hands over.

Too bad too, I was going to stop right before hitting the hand and tell Gaming Club guy that instead of paying me a $12000 prize, we could just shake hands and be friends instead. oh well.

I am still in the process of toxifying (is that a word?), detox will likely occur sometime after the weekend. Definitely after the bikini wax, I don't do those sober.

I have some thoughts on this challenge, but don't think that I can articulate them just yet. The title that springs to mind is "Life our of Balance." It will be good to try to have a semi-"normal" life again.

I just want to take a moment and thank all those involved. O'Doyle, the mother of the concept. Gaming Club for offering the opportunity and supporting my efforts. All of you fine folks in the z00 that have kept me going and believed in me. Havana for his help in getting this together and getting throught this. Granny for being there for me when I thought I was going to lose my mind.

And of course Denise. She has been a real rock; I really don't know how she put up with me. I couldn't have a better partner and know that I don't deserve her. I'll try to make it up to her a bit in Vegas.

thanks all. Wish me luck.

Bringing the Bracelet to the z00 in '05!
