1/2 the pot is 2/3 of my stack. I can't bet half the pot and then fold to a raise. If I'm betting, it has to be all-in and if I get called, I'm almost certainly beat. I'd actually prefer check/calling all-in to betting anything at all as I can at least pick off a bluff or a bad player's AQ that way.
