Default Re: What if they had a \"tip\" button? (Silly musings, no real content)

[ QUOTE ]

Maybe if every cent went to improving customer service. Other than that, no way for me.

The question is whether SOME players would do it...not whether ot not you would do it.

I have thought of this as well (and believe it's been mentioned here before).
There are MANY players who would tip 5 cents (or whatever) after every won hand for 'luck'.

As another poster alluded to....this would create some kinds of credibility issues that players who tip get dealt winning cards.

I'm not so sure the credibility issue would be that bad though.
On the PPM cruise there were SEVERAL players there who thought the deal on Party 'was a bit funny' or was 'rigged against players right after cashing-out'. etc etc.
So, even with credibility issues from some of their more loyal players they STILL do a pretty decent business.

Also - there are many B&M players who believe in similar karma regarding tipping and changing-the-deck, etc.

Now - if Party implemented a $0.05 thing to tip....and also a $0.05 thing to request a deck-change I think they could significantly increase their profits.

I also think a site like paradise-poker might do well to charge $0.05 or whatever if you order one of their hot-dogs or drinks or cigarettes or whatever.
People are dumb. There are some players who would DEFINITELY pay real money to have a picture of a cigar at their table.

I agree that it would be nice if Party would consider putting an increase like this towards improving their customer-service.
