This is read-dependant, I guess. Without reads it's probably a close decision. I tend to err on the side of raising, when it's close, since a lot of good things can happen, when you raise.

It's true that someone calling often will have a stronger hand. It's by no means a certainty, though, even at 5/10. Also, there are some hands that dominate you, that tight players will either corectly or incorrectly fold to your raise (like AJ, AT, KJ, QJ and others).

I don't think limping is such a bad play, I just prefer to raise.
