The reason I am very sensitive to this is that there were
several posts recently from winning players posting their statistics.
A number of them had a combined 9th and 10th place finishes
of < 5%. I can't for the life of me figure out how they
do it. Here, for example, I flopped a set, my opponent
flopped a straight and I was out in 10th.

While posting this reply, I was playing a hand. I put in a
big raise from late position prelop with JJ and get two callers.
The flop comes J T X rainbow. First player checks, second is
allin, I call allin. Turn X, River K for the straight and again
I am out in 10th place.
Now mabey I am just running bad, and over time my 9th and 10th place finishes
will settle down around 5% too. But I don't see it.
