It depends on the player you're up against, what he needs to bet here (some players will bet any two cards), and how he will respond to a raise.
Against most fairly passive .5/1 players I'd raise the flop and bet the turn for a free showdown, but against a more aggressive player I might go with the call/call/call line.
The reason this fold is really bad IMO is that you are just giving your lion's share of pot equity away too often (every time you have the best hand). That is going to cost you more, imo, than a couple of bets the times he happens to have a Q.
