Default Re: Can variance be this bad really?

[ QUOTE ]
OK, just got off the worst session in my life (-80BB). Every time I had a hand, and good hands at that, the board paired or flushed, no joke. To prove it, these are the stats for big PP for the session:
AA- 1 for 3
KK- 1 for 3
QQ- 0 for 5
JJ= 0 for 2

2 for 13? Unreal. Should I have quit, or does variance really run that bad? Any tricks to beat this kind of crap (say play on multiple sites so when you are running bad on one go to another)? I just couldn't believe what I was seeing and don't want to ever see it/have a night like this one again.

Meh. That's the game you play. If you don't like it, you should stop playing.

(And variance can give much harder whoopings than what you just had.)
