Isn't this an entirely different ordeal since sportsbetting is ENTIRELY illegal in the US? His Sportsbook hosted wagering from U.S. citizens for U.S. sports teams... so it makes sense that the USDOJ would use the Wire Act as support in such a case, however, I can't see where justice is served when our Gov. has done nothing to regulate American's internet use so far. It's still a GLOBAL forum.
