I'm CO w/ 33. 4 limpers already, I limp, button raises, blinds fold.

Turn is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. It checks around to me. I'd like to go for the check-raise here, but the board is scary, and there are a lot of players in the pot. The button might not bet.

2 questions: 1) should I have raised the flop, 2) Sholud I bet the turn or go for the check-raise?
