Why the hyper-sensitivity? I don't see what's so offensive about it. Regardless of the external reasons, men ARE IN GENERAL, better at Math. It's a proven fact and hardly a knock on female intelligence.
Women are better at English (unfortunately that's useless in poker). They also have a superior ability to read people, which is not useless.
Although I am not a big NL player, I personally think sex appeal + reading ability can at least equal if not trump mathematical acuity at the poker table. This hypothesis is not reflected in final tables because obviously, not enough women play seriously for whatever reason.
