A better fold would have been preflop out of position vs a tight passive opponent's raise with only one other player in there.

Getting 5.7:1 with a button who plays poorly(tight-passive) we should be seeing every flop. We will almost always know where we stand postflop, and even if we didn't play better than him, we have more than enough hot-cold equity to make this work postflop. Folding assumes that by calling we will lose more than .5 BB/hand when we call. This simply can not be the case.
