Default Re: Low Ball starting hands

For single draw, you don't want 2 and 3 card hands.

For tripple draw, you really don't want 2 card hand, but 27 is the best in 2-7, a2 is the best in a-5. In 2-7, 23, 24, 25 go in that order, 26 is quite awful and 28 is better IMO.

3 cards hands for 2-7:
237 is the best. 2w7 where w is a wheel card is a fine hand. 267 is certainly playable. 234, 235, and 2x8 where x < 7 are ok. 236 blows, 345 blows as do most other three card hands. For first in a 3x8 (x<7) is fine for a raise depending on position and opposition. (Always fine in position, usually fine from the CO or one worse in full games, sometimes good from UTG in full games).

A-5:
I don't play this much but my starting requirements are 3 non paired cards <=6. I would avoid hands like 456, 356, 346 UTG/UTG+1 in a full game. Aces are uber important in this game. A hand like A56 is probably ok UTG or UTG+1 in a full game, and and like 234 is ok I think, though I am not sure.
