I think you're a little bit too dismissive. I'd need more of a read but *if* I suspected strongly he'd lead the turn I don't think this is an awful line. The only thing that makes it awful is the 3rd player.

Against some guys I might even wait til the river to raise. Sort of a combo wa/wb line with extra weighting to the wa part b/c villan is a maniac.
