Default Re: Getting the \"Poker Rate\" For Vegas Casinos

I don't know much about places other than the Mirage and the Bellagio.

Just call the poker room and tell them you want to make a reservation. For your 1st trip they'll book you a room at the regular rate but tell you that if you play sufficient hours (normally 6 hours weekdays and 8 hours weekends) they'll give you the poker rate. It doesn't matter what limits you play.

When you arrive go into the office in the poker room, which in both places is right next to the cage, and they'll give you a card that you give to the brush (floorperson) when you sit down to play and they'll sign you in. Have them sign you out when you leave. On your last day go back into the office, show them the card with all of your hours, and if you played enough, they'll reduce your rate.

After a few trips, they'll just book you in at the poker rate and they won't need to track your play anymore. On my 1st stay at the Bellagio, my wife and I played enough hours that we never had to have our played tracked again.

I suppose that if you play 2x as many hours as you need, you might get 2 rooms at the reduced rate, but don't count on it.
