I don't think there's any other way to play it (as) profitably.

You'll have 48-52% equity against a wide range of villain's possible holdings, but it's essential that you see the turn and the river. If you call and miss, your equity dips below half on the turn and you could be priced out. If you hit, you have to worry about getting paid.

Pushing the flop neatly solves both problems and gets your money in as a favorite, or near favorite. And don't forget to factor in the times he'll fold the favored hand.

I play it this way 100% of the time.
