If your bet was essentially "all-in in the dark" then it was a truly creative move. You would have been acting out of turn, but it would paralyze anyone.

This hand was fairly likely to end up all-in by the river one way or another. If he checks, you move all-in assuming he is weak. If he bets, you will seriously consider a raise to all-in, because you assume he will credit you with a big ace (or big pp). The only "easy fold" for you is if he moves all-in on the flop.

You didn't mention what hand he had. He had an ace. And??? Or KK (hard to believe)? I'm guessing AJ, with the two calls and all the thinking. Having a shorter stack than you, I can't believe he wouldn't shove if he had a pp.
