Two points to consider.
You only have 10x the Big Blind before you act. So although, a good rule of thumb is to raise 2-4xBB, you have to take your chip stack into account. Here is a question you may want to ask yourself. If I make a bet, and someone raises me, will I call off all of my chips? if the answer is yes, then you should be pushing to start.
On the flop. I dont know why you felt this was a good flop for you. B/c you thought it missed the button? Normally a <50% of the pot continuation bet is ok (not great, but not horrible), but here it stinks. The pot has 26K in it. You have 30+. If you are going to call his push, you have to be the one pushing to start.
