I don't mind a flop lead or a flop check. Actually I prefer a flop lead. So many people will raise for a free card and I love to 3-bet.
Not 3-betting the turn is really really really bad. No you can't fold flushes anywhere.
Not 3-betting the river given that you didn't 3-bet the turn is also really really bad.
